Training in groundwater data management

This five-day event is a closed training session for central and regional staff of Thailand's Department of Groundwater Resources. The training is conducted by the US Geological Survey (USGS).

Modules cover:

• the value of data management for groundwater projects and research;
• the science data lifecycle;
• metadata principles and tools;
• data quality assurance; and
• managing data for decision support. . 

This is a virtual event. Sessions take place every morning from 9 am to 12 noon ICT on 21, 22, 28 and 30 April, and 6 May 2021.

The event is designed to support further bilateral technical collaboration on groundwater resources management between Thailand and the US.
